Child Health Surveillance Course

 

This 3 day course is aimed primarily at GP registrars seeking a general introduction to the theory and practice of CHS. It will be interactive, and provide high quality experiential learning in CHS.

 

It covers diverse topics from; faltering growth, screening - hearing loss, visual disorders, congenital dislocation of the hip, congenital heart disease etc. Also it will cover vaccination and Immunisation updates, child abuse, neglect and safeguarding children, communication difficulties and disorders, behaviour problems etc.
