A survival course for managing emergencies in General Practice – a one day course covering CPR & AED accreditation & managing medical and non medical emergencies in primary care

 

Emergencies in General Practice - a one day course (March 19th 2012)

 

Aimed at GP Registrars in ST1 & 2 this course will help you manage common medical and non medical emergencies which can occur in primary care whether it is the child with anaphylaxis, assisting at a RTA or helping with mid air medical emergencies. It also covers CPR, AEDs and allows you to obtain your CPR certification for MRCGP.

 

  • Roadside emergencies
  • Emergencies in the air
  • Medical emergencies e.g. anaphylaxis, MI, hypo, fitting, febrile convulsion, meningitis etc
  • Non medical emergencies - Practice Manager falling ill, computer crash, sewage in the practice, break in and loss of drugs, keys or scripts etc.
  • CPR & AED training & certification
