Life after training

True Lives - life after training

“I was lucky in getting a six month salaried post in my training practice. Despite this the transition from Registrar to salaried GP was quite a shock. Mastering three hour surgeries at ten minute appointments followed by a couple of visits and the new burden of a pathology in-box, PMA reports and all the scripts has made for a very busy week. On the positive side I’m no longer having to jump nMRCGP hurdles, no CbDs, COTs or ARCP panel reviews – yippee! Also my evenings are my own, time to spend with the family rather than watching consultation videos or preparing for assessments.

It has given me time to think about what I want and I have decided on looking for a partnership where I can be in control of my future and develop my professional interests.

While preparing for life after training I found these downloads most useful - just click on them and see for yourself....

Best of Luck to you all!”
