Gazing into the future

The pathway to becoming a Trainer explained - clairvoyance is not required!

Intending Trainer?

The simple fact is that it’s fun and professionally & personally very rewarding. Not only do you benefit as the Trainer but your whole practice benefits from a regular injection of enthusiasm and new ideas that GP Specialist Trainees bring.

So if you're thinking about becoming a Trainer then contact Matt, Arif or Roger. The hurdles have been reduced with opportunities for salaried GPs and GPs without MRCGP (fast track iMAP) to become Trainers.

Also new funding is available to help intending Trainers with equipment or room adaptation / structural changes to facilitate Training accreditation.

To find out when the next Introductory Seminar, which is mandatory to starting on the pathway to becoming a Trainer, is being held contact the Yorkshire Deanery now!

We are also setting up an intending Trainers' group to help support you every step of the way - contact us to find out more.
